i just got diagnosed with so many things last week… i was able to advocate for myself well, and i finally got diagnosed with autism, adhd, ocd, somatic disorder, and some other anxiety disorders. i already knew i had mdd & ptsd! it’s just so crazy. the validation that it wasn’t just me “pretending” to have a hard time my entire life like everyone said i did… the world being so much for me is because my brain works differently. it may be bittersweet, but i am so happy to finally have a diagnosis and hopefully know where to go from here. it is wonderful.

      I’m feeling the exact same way! I always thought that I just feel like a duck in a goose world and having the validation that I’m not alone

      Man I need to talk to your doctor, mine keeps giving me the run around and telling me to stop collecting mental illnesses like pokemon.

        @Starlightie for whatever it’s worth, it took me a very long time!! i’ve been looking into these diagnoses for most of my life, and the diagnosis was only possible because i’m an adult now!! i definitely hope you get a new doctor though, it seems they’re very bad at their job if they’re not listening to you :(( i’m sorry friend, you deserve an answer to your struggles. it sucks that it’s difficult to find a decent person to help
