I had both knees replaced 10 years ago. I still do the exercises I had to do before & after surgery. I have very little pain. Mostly the weather affects them the most

I worked out my thighs as much as possible before my knee surgery so when I had the surgery my muscles didn’t completely go away with out use of them. I also bought an ice Machine that helped out amazingly!

I just had one done in Aug 2021. I been back to work since Jan. 4 months to recover. Can climb up and down stairs. Walk a lot. Stand on my feet. I am a mail carrier. What do you want to know.

I personally haven’t had the surgery myself (I had minor meniscus repair); but know 2 people who have and very positive. One had both knees and my Mom they thought she needed a full but when they got it it was a partial. To add they were extremely diligent after their procedures with movement and not being still (per PT/Dr advice) and kept on top of the icing schedule etc. so just make sure you keep on top of your PT and working the scar tissue

Sooo good advice, exercise, I wish I had kept that up. I have had both of my knees replaced and I wished I had been more mobile. I was before covid hit in the gym 5 days a week and feeling good.
