I’m getting a port soon so that I can continue to increase my hydration treatments. I’m looking to hear about peoples experiences with ports for this particular purpose although I know it is not extremely common. Procedure, recovery, and daily life with it would be very helpful.
Was a very simple surgery. Was an outpatient surgery. Was sore for a few days. But that’s about it. It was worth it. I had one when my POTS was very bad for about 5 years. Thankfully I don’t need it anymore.
