does anyone else feel physical pain that debilitates them for multiple days at a time?? I usually get this from major changes in relationships, but when this happens I am unable to function and I was wondering if people had tips for how to deal with these episodes
I spoke to a psychiatrist about something similar to this and it turns out our BPD brains are wired to feel more pain (or feel it more easily) than others because the area of our brain that deals with emotions (and coincidentally, physical pain) is overactive. This could explain why you feel youre in pain, it could be that your negative emotions are being translated into aches
