I really don’t understand why there is no sort of financial assistance available for those who need to take “leave with out pay” from their job for their mental health struggles and most times this doesn’t last only a couple of days. On top of that there is no sort of sick leave for Covid! So basically I was on “leave with out pay” for the month of February because my depression had me in a dark hole that I barely got myself out of. Once I finally did and was excited to go back to work…boom covid hit me in the face and said nope stay home and stay broke! Smfh like wtf!!! Life totally sucks and this world wonders why mental health rates are at a all time high!!! Stupid!

One option for financial assistance in cases of severe depression and anxiety is applying for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). However, obtaining SSDI for mental health reasons can be challenging and may require substantial proof of disability through doctors and therapists. It's important to note that the process might involve denials and appeals, so hiring a disability lawyer could be helpful.
