Tips for long term pf? I have seen a podiatrist but nothing be recommended helped. It’s been 3 years and I’m tired of having trouble walking.

Hi, I have been dealing with my most recent bout of pf for 2 years now. And it has taken 1 and a half years to get the point where I can walk/hike and workout again. I have been doing chiropractics, sleep socks, stretching, foot exercises, started taking CBD for pain/fatigue, and getting shoes/boots for it(Kuru shoes ❤) or some of the best shoes you buy for things like hiking! I do still have some pain and tightness, but I can do the things I to do again!

I’d say the surgery because that’s what I’m leaning towards. I don’t know how you’re plantar fasciitis is but I know it’s painful! I have heel spurs and sometimes get cortisone shots to keep the pain at bay for months. It gets tiring for me. Other alternatives. Use gel inserts in your shoes, put your sock in the fridge to get cold cause it helps. Idk if you heard of freezing a bottle of water and rolling your foot. Compression socks. You can try hemp cream. If you want it gone I’d say surgery. I’ve had it for years and years. I’m debating to get the surgery. People say no but it’s what’s right for you and you feel what you need. I hope you can figure something out! Believe me, I know the pain and burning! It’s painful. I’ll pray for you. ❤️🙏
