Hey all, I have been really struggling especially in the last couple month. When baby was 9 months we started a month long moving process while waiting for our older to finish the school year. Now babies first birthday is a week and a half away and I am feeling terrible. I have barely unpacked the house despite being here full time coming up on a month and am struggling with the energy to cook or clean let alone chase around an exploring baby and keep him from getting into stuff he shouldn't. My husband is at the end of his rope with my excessive laziness but I don't feel much better about it and the worse I feel about not doing things the harder it is to do anything! I told my husband last night I think I need to go to therapy to work on things since I'm not finding the way with medication alone. He then starts telling me everything I should be doing to make myself feel better like showing, cleaning the house, exercising, and such. He doesn't listen when I tell him I try to do those things and failing to do them just makes things worse in the way of me feeling like I'm worthless and the worst mother/wife in the world. I'm really not sure how to explain it to him in a way he'll understand. Anyone else have issues getting your husband to understand what you are feeling and going through? Any advice?
