i try to ease myself into getting more and more of the good reward chemicals by making a checklist of easy and medium tasks and ive found it’s a good way to begin. it’s cliche but start small and put on some music or something, personally i watch the youtube askreddits. so addictive
This may be horrible advice, but I usually allow myself to cry it out. Shoving down the emotion never helps me, I need to embrace it first. Then after some good tears were shed, I can pick myself up and love on with my day much easier. Otherwise I just spend all day on the verge of tears or a panic attack.

I personally just think of the fact that there will always be a new day, and with that a new start.
I’ve recently implemented some advice I read on this app and it’s been so helpful with my motivation. My depression and anxiety cause me to freeze up and get exhausted. I started doing morning pages where I force myself to write out 3 pages in my journal, just stream of consciousness. It gets my mind moving forward.
Do you have goals? I always remind myself that I have to get through whatever struggle so I can get back to my aspirations in life.
