Yeh I was an apprentice chef and the boss fully qualified me 6 months early while there was no mention of it being from my seizures it was pretty obvious he just found a legal loophole

Yes. I was put on medical leave for 2 months by a doctor, presented the official sick notes to my boss and then was accused of forging the papers and going off to do physical training elsewhere.... I had a failed knee operation. There's no way I was doing physical stuff!

I started have seizures my first one was at work. Mine are stress related and I was working in a kitchen at the time so I was having them frequently . I was an apprentice at the time so they signed me off 6 months early .

Yes, depending on your location I would look into the legal pursuits as this is not legal in many places. I didn't but I should have.

Yes, my last job fired me due to health issues. I had had surgery and went back to work. I started to bleed so I told all my coworkers that I needed to leave and I left a message with my manager. I went to the doctor got my doctors note, then I got a call from my manager saying that I had to bring a doctors note and so on Saturday when I felt better I brought the doctors note in. I showed up to work on Monday and I was fired. Where I live employers don’t need a reason to fire you.

I wasn't fired but I did have to quit based on un fair treatment due to my illnesses
I've never been fired because I'm freelance, but I go through long periods of not being able to work.

I quit for medical reasons before they could fire me for attendance issues.

I once got a 3 day excuse from an E.R. saying that due to my condition I couldn't work for 3 days and I had to physically give them the excuse because I don't have a car so I walked. I gave it to them and a few days later they call me in and tell me the excuse was fake and that I wasn't doing my job among other things and I was fired.
@Aludra that's horrible! Hope you're doing well as you can now.
@faerywyrm I am doing ok. Its been many a year since I worked at that place.
I was asked to resign from my job as a caretaker when it was discovered that I was epileptic. It was embarrassing.

@faerywyrm That's insane and totally not right. I'm so sorry that happened to you and I hope you're going okay now ❤️
@QueenDreamer had to go through a few other jobs with similar results. Now on disability.
