I have recently lost my mum due to sepsis. I am also being emotional abused by my partner. I feel so alone and don't have much support for myself.

I'm so sorry that's what you're going through. If you aren't already seeing one, I highly recommend a grief counselor or therapist. As for your relationship, end it. As soon as possible in whatever way you feel most comfortable. Your partner does not have the right to control, manipulate, harm, insult or even just be rude to you. If you ever need more support, you can always shoot me a message. Please seek help, and don't be afraid to reach out to me or family or friends or anyone close who may be able to help.

I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through. Somehow those words never feel like enough. I left an abusive relationship twelve years ago now. He was a carbon copy of my dad, who I’m in the process of removing from my life now. Seeing what’s going on is a huge achievement. How are you doing on your journey? It’s easy to say leave, but often there’s so much more than just walking out the door. If you haven’t already, you might look into an abuse support group. I joined one at my local Center for NonViolence and it’s been the biggest help, physically, emotionally. There are a number of programs you can talk to for support where their first priority is your safety. I’m here if you ever want to talk, or if you’d like any information for services and aids. You’re not alone, in loss or in pain.

I went through losing my mother and emotional abuse from two consecutive partners in 2009 -2018. I am so sorry to hear you're going through this. If you ever need someone to vent to or share stories im often near my phone. ❤️

I'm so sorry that you have gone through so much. I can't imagine I recommend talking to someone that you trust and feel comfortable talking to when you are ready. As for the relationship if you can leave I would suggest you leave but if you are finding it difficult to leave reach out to someone that will have your back it's scary and it may seem like you can't get away I promise someone will be on your side.
