i hav trouble remembering most things from the past so i definitely think there’s some repressed memories. i’m struggling w your same questions because i feel like i need to address them, but don’t know where to start. they’re definitely suppressed due to some type of trauma or negative emotion w the situation

So I don't believe I have an repressed memories. However I believe it happens because of the way trauma memories are stored in the brain. A certain sound or smell may affect you, yet you have no recollection of why it makes you feel a certain way. Plus, uncovering them sounds like it be a traumatic experience in itself to be honest. However it may as well be the key to understand yourself better and hopefully cope and move on over time.
