My partner was talking to his friend about me and admitted he doesn't know what I do for fun on a daily basis. It's true - I don't do anything and time just disappears and I hate it. I don't do anything because I cannot actively procrastinate on my work, but then I still somehow end up procrastinating.
My first reaction to this was to think daily is too much... HA. I was so wrong ! We all should try to do something that brings us joy once a day. For me it's going on an extra walk with my dog, spend extra time with my coffee in the morning before starting work, etc.
This!🤗 I've been trying extra hard lately, to adopt this way of thinking! My kids are 6 & nearly 10, so finding a spare Me Moment is slightly easier than when they were younger, but still few & far between.
But thinking of it as just letting myself have some joy for that day feels easier than forcing a hobby, that I don't currently have the motivation/creativity for. ❤️
