for a few years now ive been deaf in my left ear. recently its started crackling, echoing, and it feels like someone is stabbing my brain. does anyone know whats causing this or how i can help? its really overstimulating. my doctor has no clue.
this is exactly what i deal with, even down to it being on the left side and my deafness was caused by a gunshot as well. i also have ménière's disease though, so that's what part of what causes my symptoms. it sounds like your eardrum is just super damaged though, have you ever gotten it checked out professionally?
