In an effort to uplift women, they have completely left out people who menstruate. That's awful. I'm not a trans man, but I hope you get the comfort and answers you need, Blue.
By the way, I see you also have PMDD. I'm still trying to fully figure out this condition within myself. What symptoms and challenges do you have with it?
Ah, I dealt with that too before I got on 150mg of Sertraline. I still get very physically sick a week before my period, but my depression is lower and my suicidal ideation is almost zero. Definitely still very sensitive physically and emotionally.
Damn, I can’t imagine being in your shoes. I’m so sorry you go through that. Being a cis female I get where they come from, since women have always been shamed for bleeding (and just existing really), so trying to put empowerment to a specific demographic that’s been suppressed for a long time (by men) makes sense. From the cos female side it’s so confusing to see such quick advancement in society. It’s great to see women finally publicly uplift women, but confusing to then immediately be in the wrong for not including men… when men have stomped on women for so long. It really comes down to society advancing at warp speed and no one being able to keep up, no one’s on the same page and it’s nearly impossible to see every side when things are moving so quickly. Hopefully more trans men will make their way to marketing platforms and can advocate for advertising that’s both empowering and inclusive. Again I can’t imagine what you go through. Sorry for my word vomit 😂. Anyway, I cannot fathom the strength and courage you have to put into the world daily that the rest of us take advantage of 💕
