I'm really annoyed at my IBS. Anything that doesn't taste bland contains a trigger food e.g. fatty, spicy, sour, contains soya, contains dairy, contains onion. Gluten is about the only thing my stomach won't have a tantrum over. Most times I just suffer through the pain because bland food just tastes like cardboard.

It's important to remember that everyone's IBS triggers are different. Some people have found relief by eating plain white rice, chicken, eggs, strawberries, blueberries, squash, and sweet potatoes. It's recommended to start with a bland diet and slowly introduce other foods one by one to identify your specific triggers. You can also try keeping a food diary to track patterns between what you eat and your symptoms.
