I feel like I am a bad mom right now for yelling at my 7th almost 8 month old son for ripping my necklace off when I was trying to put him in his walker. I also feel like a bad wife because my husband had to turn around on his way to work and call out because I was having a panic attack.

You're not a bad mom bc you realize you don't like that you yelled at him, you don't feel like he deserves that reaction, and you are not a bad wife that just shows how much your husband cares about you and wants to do everything he can to make sure you are safe

I think it's very normal to feel like bad parents when we're not
Thank y'all and normally I am not that quick to anger

That doesn’t make you a bad wife or mother in my opinion. The fact that it bothered you and you didn’t just rationalize it away shows that you genuinely care about them which gets you pretty far. I’d talk to someone about better ways to manage that quick anger. I have totally done that with my kids and it makes me feel like garbage but I just explain to them. “I’m sorry I did that it wasn’t right and I am trying to do better.”

I snap sometimes too. Doesn't make you a bad mom
