I used to take birth control to help balance out my hormones because I have too much testosterone, but after a while I stopped taking it because I was concerned about the side affects. My periods are very irregular (for the past couple years I get about 2-4 periods a year). I don’t even know what to do anymore with my PCOS☹️ any suggestions on where to start? I didn’t take my condition seriously when I was diagnosed at 16 because I thought my cycles would go back to regular but it hasn’t and now I’m concerned 😬

You could try a different birth control. Mines doesn’t remove any testosterone it just ads progesterone and estrogen and my cycle is regular down to the day. Trying different combos of hormones and chemicals may help. Best of luck!

I HIGHLY suggest you check this Facebook page out for balancing hormones. She also has a free podcast and guides. She is awesome at responding to DMs. It’s not just how to balance hormones naturally but also diet, workout, birth control, and the truth behind it all and HOW your hormones work. She tries hard to make sure you understand what’s happening with your body https://www.facebook.com/groups/balancinghormonesnaturally/?ref=share
