Hey guys I’ve been dealing with somewhat new widespread chronic pain. Started out thinking it was just my job (line cook/manager) feeling achey after work was normal until it became more frequent started feeling pain halfway through shifts (8-9hr) then earlier and earlier. Now it’s constant pain lots of joint cracking weakness in arms, neck, shoulders. Just wondering if anyone’s experienced something similar because I’m only 22 and this problem has escalated over 1y and a few months and it’s all a mystery.

I suffer from chronic back pain and what you are describing is more widespread and involves different joints. I think you should consider going to Rheumatologist to look for any other diseases. Good luck hope you will feel better 😘

Have you checked for any vitamin or mineral deficiencies? It's important to ask your doctor to do some blood work to rule out anything like that before thinking about other conditions.

I’ve definitely been less active at home mostly because the pain has steadily increased so I consider my off days to be rest/heal days. I just started physical therapy as well but even the simple stretches feel like I did a whole workout the next day

I had a similar situation of feeling some pain and then it just going downhill quickly for no apparent reason. I was originally diagnosed with fibromyalgia because of this but I was then diagnosed with hEDS and POTS which better explains my problems.

Have your activity levels changed outside of work at all? I experience increased pain during work shifts if I'm not keeping up with my regular PT/exercise schedule. Exercise doesn't make shifts pain free for me, but it has helped them to be much more manageable.
