tw!! sh i self harmed for the first time in a while. I was almost a year clean and i gave in. does anyone know have tips on feeling less inclined to self harm and to help improve your mood after you’ve done so?

Not only that get rid of any thing that makes you want to self harm like a pocket knife. Give it to someone who can hold onto it for you or put it in a drawer in a different room than your room. Out of sight out of mind.
Make a promise to someone you really care about. Not to not do it because that's an unfair promise. But I've found promising to try not to, almost everytime I think about it and get close I'm like "ugh I promised I'd try though" and almost always stop
