Does anyone else have a stutter or vocal tic when they talk about trauma? When I start to talk about the things I went through, my words either repeat over and over until I stop myself or I can’t talk at all. It’s frustrating.

It's a normal sign of trauma and if someone truly cares for you they will be patient. ❤️

I have a stutter whenever I get worked up about trauma or anxiety. Especially on words with more than one syllable. Which, in turn, upsets me more and makes my stutter worse.

All the time. I tend to worry I'll lose people's patience with me when it happens. So far I try to speak with purpose instead, so I get my point across without having to say much. Takes a little bit of planning though.
@Vixxa felt. every time it happens i have to stop myself and restart my sentence with a different direction and Im very surprised no one has yelled at me for it yet lmao
I tend to talk faster and stammer a bit.
