In order to be good at something we have to let ourselves be bad at it first. No one is talented, it's all practice and consistency. Plus! You don't need to be "good" at something to enjoy it. I'm a horrible dancer but I still flail around my room sometimes because it's fun and no one is there to see me.
If depression is eating away at your usual sources of joy, try aiming a little lower. Find things that make you feel okay or decent. Anything that isn't straight up boring to get you through this rough patch. It can be hard but I know you can do it.
Sometimes enjoyment comes from the strangest places, you never know. Try your hand at something new, maybe with a friend or family member for added support. Even something as simple as watching silly animal videos or a favorite movie can be beneficial. I hope you find some of this helpful 😊
