How do y’all feel about memes about BPD? I like them and make them myself but I feel like only people diagnosed with it should be making them. It’s hard to explain

i love making them, but gatekeeping memes isn’t fun. most of the ppl making bpd memes probably have bpd as well ¯\_(ツ)_/ i just don’t like it when people go and self-diagnose and preach about what it’s like for them, or when they romanticize having this disorder on tiktok. pisses me off so much

My friend without BPD will sometimes send me BPD memes she thinks I can relate too and I know it's not exactly the same but I actually really enjoy it as long as it's not hurtful I don't mind it and sometimes even find them extremely funny
