How do you stop the bad thoughts from jumping into your mind?

    When I catch a negative thought starting, I'll mentally tell myself to stop it. If it's something that I can use logic with, I'll replace it with that type of thought. I've also flat out told myself, "Nope, we're not going there right now." And I'll imagine myself putting the negative thought in a box & putting a lid on it. It seems to help.
