It will never be 100% easy, but it can get a bit easier. The keys are to stay active , try to make wise good choices , eat in moderation , and really pay attention to the way your blood sugars react to certain foods/activities. Also involve your endocrinologist so they can help with insulin adjusting. It takes a lot of self discipline to tame type 1 diabetes. It also takes a lot of will power to sometimes not eat certain things if you know it's not gonna do your blood sugar well. For example if your sugar is 250mg/dl don't eat a whopping piece of cake or a bowl of pasta lol it's all about being smart with your food choices and the timing of these food choices. I've been type 1 for 26yrs trust me I know how you feel ! But it is possible to gain much control over this disease wish time, patience , motivation, and much self discipline. You can do it !!!! Wishing you the best of luck ❤️
