I’m living in Kentucky. I’m wanting a service dog to help with my EDS, autism, PTSD, anxiety, self harming, and depression (so mainly a psychiatric service dog). Does anyone know how to go about starting that process?

Info for Kentucky specifically
SERVICE DOG REGISTRIES ARE FAKE! If you want a service dog there are a few different way to go. Through a program like the Service dog connection. Program dogs can be expensive though. The other main option is to adopt a dog either rescue (like what I want to do for my sd plans) or a breeder then training either 100% on your own or working with a trainer. I would also recommend checking out the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and looking for more resources through them. I wish you the best of luck and if you have more questions feel free to dm.
