Possible MS Diagnosis, Seeking Advice

I was diagnosed with fm about 23 years ago. Started having different symptoms about 4 years ago like ms hug. A year ago my legs and left arm went numb with a pins and needles feeling. I visited a neurologist who was pretty confident I have ms after discussing medical my history and his in office exam. I have only had a brain mri so far and it did show 1 lesion. I will say there are definitely similarities between how I feel with fm & ms but there’s also some big differences.

YES!!! (Not screaming just finally glad to hear someone with the same thoughts haha) I'm literally in the same boat! My doctor put FM as my diagnosis and I just met with him today and we both think/agree that it doesn't seem to completely fit. I had been reading up on different diagnosis that are similar to FM or often get mistook for it and MS came up. After reading more about it, it really seems to match up pretty well. My doctor is great and put in for me to have an MRI, so hopefully soon I'll know. Were you diagnosed with FM and what symtpms do you have that make you think it's MS? Feel free to dm me if you want to chat as well, I've just been on here for weeks and haven't met anyone else in a similar position.

Hi after 2 years with symptoms my Dr finally say is Ms I don't start yet whit med I prefer to wait I visit at holiolistic med she treatment is very good and I feel fine for now so let's see
