Overwhelmed by Real Life

Hi Clever, I'm in a very similar boat. I'm also on the spectrum with anxiety and depression, and I have a really hard time with busy places and it easily leads to overstimulation and my mind shutting down. It's really scary, and that's why I hate the city. I can't handle the rush, it's so overwhelming. My personal life is also very packed with responsibilities and tasks that need to get done, and on top of that, my mental, physical, and emotional health needs to be balanced. Academics, my social life, self care, and so on are so much to manage and it's really hard to stay on top of everything. I often rely on academic validation so I put everything else on the back burner and prioritize school, which doesn't serve me well.
