@oneluckymomma that is why I'm a little indifferent because since my levels are normal just all at once the doctors act like that's it they don't need to do anything to check anymore and I'm thinking if it can go down that fast can it go back up that fast

Post sx I have to get yearly lab & ultrasound to check my cancer markers. My lvls go up and down but the specific cancer lab marker is the true tell of if it’s still gone or trying to return.

Everyone is different your right, Thank you for the dare I say “heads up” 😂 bad pun I know lol.. I really appreciate your help and Information. I’ll keep you posted!
I understand that a very big roller coaster ride
@cotton I couldn't imagine if mine had been 32 even at almost 10 and getting my medicine changed it was like my body was on a rollercoaster ride
You are right that everyone is different and so are the surgeons. My first surgery I couldn’t pick my head up off the pillow at all for two days and could not speak for a week. Now the other surgeries I had no trouble.

@marvel01 I hope your not like I was, searching the internet trying to find answers about how things are or how things are going to be because I will tell you now everyone is different. My aunt had the same surgery and she had trouble holding her head up and talking but with mine I was a little horse and I could hold my head up just fine, except my hair was longer and when I would take a shower it would pull my head back so needless to say my hair got cut lol
The last time my cancer was active my TSH was 32 and I get checked by my oncologist every six months to make sure it stays down where it supposed to be
@cotton that is strange because this is after my surgery and all they kept telling me is that it should slowly come down and then next thing I knew it was 0.92 and they are telling me oh everything is fine now and now your PCP can handle everything from here
I was told that when your TSH level is high beyond a certain level that means that the cancer is active. And you say the next time the levels are checked it’s normal that means the cancer is gone
I’m just about to start this whole process! I’m going for my surgery consult on st.Patrick’s day!
