it used to bother me how few friends I have, but now I'm more comfortable with the amount I have because I know that the friends I have are true friends to me. I've tried reaching out and staying in contact with the ones that drifted away, but they choose to loose contact with me, and that's ok. I'll cherish the ones I have.

As a person who was once in the same place as you this couldn’t have been said any better. Once I graduated high school I was the odd one out of my friend group. I couldn’t really make it to plans because of my anxiety. I’ve came to terms that if I loose them I loose them and that’s ok. That’s life. As soon as I started college though I’ve met more people and the genuinely make me feel comfortable and wanted compared to my old friend group. New people will definitely come around, but it’s up to you if you let them in or not
