I'm so tired of my body, I'm tired of feeling trapped and unable to do anything on my own. I'm not even 28 yet, and I use a wheelchair to do anything. I feel so sick all the time, I just want to be normal..

I think one of the worst parts about being sick is not only having to try to find your new “normal” but also being able to see others easily maintain the normal you used to have. All my friends are in college and doing jobs while i had to drop out and quit mine. I dont know if you like reading or not but this book really helped my when i was wore down and feeling helpless about being sick. Its called “How to be sick” by Toni Bernhard. She’s writes about this exact problem and it gave me some peace of mind. In any case, im truly sorry. Its extremely hard, what we go through. I hope it gets better for you.

Hi there ❤️I am in my 20s as well and currently struggling with chronic illness for only about 2 and a half years now and I feel frustrated most of the time. I always say I’m sick of being sick but idk how long I can keep saying that although it’s hard to stay positive.. I don’t have any great advice at the moment except to try to find things you enjoy or even do more of the small things that help to feel “normal”. You are not alone and there is a large community out there for support 💕
