My dr really wants me on infusions and I do too but i don’t have commercial insurance and it would be atleast $500 a month which is very unrealistic for a 19 year old on my own. I have medi-cal but the type I’m on doesn’t cover infusions as of 2021. I could however get the infusions covered if I switch the type of medi-cal I have but that would switch my primary care and I’d have to start everything over considering my OB and psychiatrist are through my PCP as well. If anyone has another idea or advice please let me know:)

I don’t know how much help this would be but maybe try appealing your insurance’s denial of coverage for infusions? I know with some insurances they want to go the cheaper route or try alternative treatments if the one the Dr. wants is pricey.
