Dealing with the Adderall Shortage: A Rant

Florida was the next domino to fall to the Adderall shortage (and thus all similar stimulant meds for ADHD, starting with Concerta - or methylphenidate, which I take). We found 10 54 mg pills at a pharmacy at the end of January, which we jumped on. No one has any, no one knows when they WILL have any. I had two or three 36s left, so took those, in the shortest titration down ever, now cutting the 54s in half - lengthwise because they’re extended release. When at school full time, I took 72 mg, right now? 27. No other stimulant meds are available, but plenty of the non-stimulant, which, unfortunately, do zilch for me (tried most of them over the years as I already have a rapid RHR, making stimulants non-optimal). End rant. WTF are y’all doing to cope? And if it’s not a problem where you are, lemme know what city I should plan my spontaneous vacation for.
