Hey y’all! I’m in a psychology of self class right now. I’m giving the professor advice on the curriculum for next year. Does anyone have a good strategy to strengthen autonomy and helped you develop a stronger sense of self? Some recommendations I got are meditation, journaling exercises, workshops, and habit tracking. Any help is awesome, thank you!!

Developing individual self worth looks different to each person. it is it's own unique path. And to entertwine that with other people's journeys... It becomes tricky. Always knowing that what you are doing, in and of itself, has worth, should be motivation enough to keep going! But when other people enjoy it too, it really builds something with inheritantly more value and that's what we truly seek out. Are relationships that help prosper our own end goals while symbioticly helping out others.

Becoming single hahaha... Or idealize dating over commitment while your young. Explore options, do things where the end goal only involves you or your the only one who cares about the result. Promote and support your own journey and don't take on others issues while young. Keep to your own issues. If you must be in a relationship then value what you bring to the table. Be able to offer activities to do then and want to do them. If your partner has no interest don't be bummed keep going and do those activities for yourself then!
