Okay thank you because someone told me the neck and I started to freak out. I see the vascular surgeon right after. I'm really hoping they find something because I've been struggling pain wise. Not sure if anyone else has this symptom as well but my feet turn purple, sometimes just my left one and my right stays pale.

@Birdies My feet do the same but itā€™s both for me, Iā€™ve had this symptom since I was like 12! Itā€™s crazy how many times it was written off as ā€œbad circulation/not concerningā€ my GPs but itā€™s my understanding that itā€™s a PC symptom

I'm having a CTV done this Thursday and am very nervous. Does anyone know where they insert the contrast?

@Birdies I was super nervous too, but it went really quickly and was easy and painless. I didnā€™t even have to go into the big machine it was a small ring I was pulled in and out of laying flat on a bed

@Birdies I just had an IV line and they have you hold this bar to keep your arms up. The contrast was added to my IV electronically from a machine and it feels weird- like a hot sensation moving through your body. They Told me I would feel like I was going to P my pants, but I had just Peed before I went in and for me it was more of an almost burning sensation in my bladder but it only lasts for a few seconds

@RonJohnson šŸ‘the IV line was just a typical one in the arm

Also, QueenLady, a pelvic floor specialist is not the best for PCS. I would speak to at least one vascular specialist. Theyā€™ll do a CTA (special type of CT scan) &/or a diagnostic venogram (minimally invasive procedure)

Curious too! Iā€™m about to get one this month šŸ˜¬. Iā€™m super nervous because I have an autoimmune disease & I canā€™t find any medical studies regarding coil migration in the long term

@RonJohnson good luck!! Itā€™s my understanding that this is the only effect long term treatment. Iā€™m on the pursuit of finding a place that does this. My OBGYN referred me to a pelvic pain clinic and I canā€™t get in there until November! Sadly I donā€™t I even think thatā€™s where I need to go :/ will be scheduling an appt with my general practitioner to see about other options
