Overall just minding you're own business, being respectful to those you have to share space with, avoiding those who aren't respectful, and exploring and sticking to your interests at your own rate gets you through it without much issue or drama. I wasnt the popular kid but aside from my CFS high school wasnt horrible and I wasn't ever bothered much by the other students, and most people even generally regarded me somewhat positively because I was respectful

High school can be tough but a few good friends make all the difference. Grades are not everything. Taking time to get to know herself and her interests is important. Joining lots of clubs maybe trying a new sport and deciding what she likes to stick with.

Endure high school can be rough. Try to find a few good friends “quality over quantity” and lose “high school tv” expectations. Try your personal best but don’t burn yourself out/ over extend yourself and stress yourself out. It isn’t worth it. (Do what’s necessary, 80% is good enough) Quizlet, khan academy, spark notes, google, YouTube are great for hw help/study . If u have trouble with deadline or hw seek extra help from teacher or ask for an assignment extension. I definitely made the mistake of overworking myself in high school. You’ll probably have tests often so if your short on time don’t bother creating a study guide and study straight from your book or notes. Also try to study a lil bit everyday instead of craming, but it will happen at some pt which is ok. Try to maintain a sleep schedule! Also a schedule in general is good I liked to reward myself some short leisure time right after school to chill out and then do my hw. Do everything u need for school the night before (pack lunch, bag, set out clothes etc) that way you aren’t rushing in the morning and don’t have to get up earlier! You can join or leave clubs at anytime (no matter if they say otherwise) so join what interests you and stick to your favs (u probably only can maintain like 3). If High school isn’t it for you just focus on yourself study/do hw in the library or at lunch and focus on building your own interests and find your ppl at college.

My advice would be to just try to focus on being true to herself, and finding friends who can and will accept her for who she is. Yeah, being judged by others can be pretty scary at 9th grade, but hopefully with good friends surrounding her, most of the 'judgments' she will have to worry about will be how cool and wonderful they think she is.

Is there something specific that she is especially worried about?
