So, I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 12 and was put on Topamax for two years to treat the seizures and migraines. I believe they said I was having atonic seizures, or drop attacks, and said it was one of the rarest form of seizures. I have had similar episodes to what they said were drop seizures all throughout my life after stopping the medication, but they're very rare for me though. Can anyone tell me if I may still have this condition in adulthood? And anyone who has experienced having a drop attack, can you describe what it feels like before and after it happens? I'm just trying to figure out if it is actually seizures or if it could be something else entirely. Thank you!

@zebra2022 i also had atonic-clonic seizures. also had been on topomax
mine only happen when i’m getting my blood drawn. my heart races, my head feels heavy, i fell very weak and light headed and extremely tired. my whole body gets tingly all over.
I also just might've had one this morning. The last time it could have possibly happened was October 2021 and the time before that was May 2020 for some context.
