I have severe panic disorder and gad, and am 3 years clean and sober but just curious how often anyone's does, or that can relate to all this possibly. sometimes feel alone health wise

I'm not much of a water drinker but do force myself and it's worth it sometimes. When I get up too fast in the mornings my heart will POUND real hard and fast for like 3-4-5 minutes then slow a bit very freaky

Have your doctor look into beta blockers. š¤

I get heart palpitations when Iām feeling especially anxious. And it can be just an underlying sense of anxiety, not necessarily a full on panic attack. I find that dehydration can bring on heart palpitations or a faster than normal heart rate. If I drink a lot of water, it often resolves itself. š

I get palpations as well especially around my menstrual cycle too
I have been feeling āfluttersā in my chest for a few years. My drs thought it was related to a medication I was on. I went off of it but itās still happening occasionally. I did the heart monitor thing but it didnāt show anything much. Iām curious about what someone above said about dehydrationā¦ interesting.
What condition if you don't mind my asking, you don't have to say if you do not want to... Just thought I'd ask. I still have to make myself a doctor's appointment anyways. I'm just scared what I'll find out, even though all tests have always showed normal. My doctor wrote a referral for a heart monitor for four days just still waiting on that to come through
Well thank you, I've had severe anorexia in my past, I'm up to 125-130 now after having my now 2 year old. But I have poor eating habits and bad at drinking water like I should.
Yes. All the time. Sometimes it from not eating or even being dehydrated. š
my palpitations were a symptom of an insanely rare genetic condition, but if you're clean and sober, you probably just have palpitations related to The Before Times. not at all unheard of and perfectly normal, it's nothing to worry about and it happens to everyone sometimes
