I’ve been diagnosed with pots in the last two years however i’ve been dealing with joint pain from ehlers-danlos long before my pots diagnosis. I’ve been using cannabis to self medicate my pain. I have to say with certain strains i don’t notice any heart palpitations, but am i hurting myself in the long run by smoking? Does anyone else with pots use cannabis?

@ghibli honestly I've been using cannabis for two years now and the longer I do the better my symptoms get. My doctor was worried about the effects as well when we started this journey and in the beginning so was I but as time goes on I definitely notice a difference. But it's a very personal experience type of thing so if the benefits from it are worth it to you all you can do is try. But if you think somethings wrong dont ignore that feeling. Our bodys will tell us we just have to be listening. ❤️

I smoke a lot to help with my ehlers danlos syndrome, personally it helps relieve nausea and build up an appetite when I’m sick. It depends heavily on the person, if you feel it helps manage symptoms then it may be beneficial for you. If it makes you feel worse or causes heart palpitations then you should be very careful and consider speaking with a professional about it
