Has anyone else's chronic illnesses been majorly awoken by the holidays? I feel like mine have been summoned all at once. Migraines, Sjogren's symptoms amped up, and now a bad IC flare. I love this time of the year, but there's always that undercurrent of stress. Does stress cause this? Just an autoimmune thing? Smh. Hoping everyone's hanging in there š§”

Omg! I've been meeting with my specialist more trying to figure things out. All of the symptoms, all at once, and the fatigue has been especially insane. The idea that it's the stress of this time of year hadn't even occurred to me. And I'm a baker! It's my busiest season lol!

Yes totally connected to stress! Make sure you do the things that regulate your nervous system like a restorative yoga class, a walk/jog, even a 1 to 10 minute meditation/prayer. Whatever helps you breathe deep and settle. Something each day even if it means you donāt meet all your holiday expectations or others expectations on you š«¶š¼.
@Emib Thank you! That's a great reminder!
