Dealing with Depression After Losing Loved Ones

I lost my mom December 5, 2019. My job of 8 years 3 months later because I could not focus. Then my brother November 16, 2021. A few job in between there. My apartment. And a few other things as we’ll. I know it hurts. I’m so sorry for your losses.

Not anymore. I have dealt with a lot of loss (my grandma, unkle, 2 brothers and others). The one I still have trouble with is my big brother, we were extremely close and his death was the most unnatural. To help me cope I still talk to him. I allow myself to believe he is watching my family from a distance. Not sure if this is considered healthy thought process but it helps keep my depression at bay.
