I’ve been having issues with my appetite and recently they’ve gotten worse. The reason I wanted to make this post is cause there’s this other thing that happens that’s really strange and I have no explanation for, which is that my hunger will grow for about an hour, then I’ll get incredibly, debilitatingly hungry for a couple minutes, and then it will fade and I won’t be hungry anymore. Also at no point in this process do I actually WANT to eat. This happens 2-3 times a day whether or not I eat enough. It’s like my hunger is totally broken and I just have to go by logic of when and how much I need to eat.
I’ve tried googling a couple times but I can’t find anything, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or might know how to fix it. Or any advice on increasing appetite would also be appreciated, since there’s still the issue of me never wanting to eat. (Definitely not anorexic btw, I try to eat but I just can’t get much down)

      well it’s been getting worse for a while, but now that you mention it I think it started when I began transitioning (I’m trans ftm). That’s definitely added a lot of constant anxiety
