Struggling to Believe in Love?

Does anyone else have trouble believing when people say “I love you”? And not in the way of I don’t believe I can be loved, moreso just not understanding or believing the weight of it when others say it to you? I usually don’t say it unless I fully, truly mean it, and my confusion more pertains to people who say it a lot. Like do others have a hard time accepting “I love you” from people who say it to all their friends and even acquaintances they aren’t close with..? Because I hold it to such a high standard and have rarely said it, when someone says it so much, it’s really hard for me to equate the two in weight of meaning. Does any of that make any sense..?
