I feel like I'm probably unwanted here because of who I am. I've been time and time again rejected for not knowing how social situations work and looking weird. It's hard for me wo open up to people because I know they will think I'm a broken person.

    If we're all here on this app, aren't we all a little broken somehow? I see we have a lot in common, so the least to say, I understand some of your struggles. It's hard to be rejected because you don't understand something, and I'm in the same boat with you. The most you can do is just say "Nobody ever taught me" and I found that it changes people's reaction. They were taught, but you weren't, so it immediately tells them they're a d*ck for insulting you (because maybe they've been in your shoes.) With your anxiety, stop saying "I know this will happen" and start saying "I think this will happen, can I get reassurance that it won't?" Or even just the first half: "I think this will happen." It helps break down delusions/anxious thought patterns that ultimately weaken self-worth and perspective-optimism over time. In shorter words, changing something simple like that ca help you see more possibilities, even if it seems that it always comes true to you. Little by little, you'll understand. And it's okay to not know it right away. It's okay to learn at any pace you go at. We're all a little unwanted here. So welcome home.
