triggered at work every month, it's consistent with my PMDD, the intensity of my PTSD is more manageable when I'm not pmsing. I am terrified every time I'm triggered and need to step away because it takes me a moment to calm down and my coworkers track how long I'm in the restroom, I get retriggered as the day goes on and eventually I get overwhelmed from holding it in and end up having a panic attack. that's been my experience at my new job the last 2 months.
I'm just venting but also if anyone else has experienced this - what did you do? did you tell your boss and coworkers about your PTSD and how it is worse with your chronic pain? I just feel very alone and don't know what to do.
