@zellarius I have that above both my breasts, left side is worse. It comes and goes. My Dr at the time it started told me it was caused by carrying a heavy backpack daily (I was in college) and stress can make it worse.

      It's a pinched nerve. It's very common

I have noticed over time that it's worse when I'm anxious. But I do go to the doctor soon, so maybe they'll have an idea of what we can do!

yes! i get it on both, but mostly the same side as you. i seen a cardiologist bc i had such bad anxiety i thought there was something wrong with it, turns out my heart is very healthy. i’d recommend seeing one if you’re able to, it really helped my anxiety

ive been having pain below my left breast which varies between a sharp pain and an ache and a hospital consultant told me it is costochondritis.

@zellarius @carter._.16 I've also had episodes of costochondritis like this before that were caused by severe stress/anxiety, and that was my first though when I saw this post. (I have asthma as well and I think that can make it worse, since the wheezing strains muscles in my chest, but the same thing can happen during panic attacks.) Sometimes it resolves pretty quickly, sometimes takes weeks or months, but if anxiety is ongoing that definitely exacerbates it. If you're able to afford it, I'd suggest seeing a doctor or going to urgent care just to rule out anything more serious. They will likely want to do an EKG, which can be expensive, so keep in mind what your finances/insurance will cover. For me it ended up being partially covered and it was worth it for my peace of mind.

i’m pretty sure it’s just a developing breast; i’ve been getting a similar pain on my right and they’ve started evening out in size (one’s smaller than the other)

@KayNF it just scares me because I'm afraid that something is wrong with my heart/ possibly having some sort of something
