I'd like to know what you do for avolition? It's a terrible symptom that really gets me down. I'm really hard on myself about it. So far I've been taking vitamin D and doing Tai Chi. Vitamin D is great for schizophrenia, I'd be lost without it. Tai Chi boosts executive function and releases a cocktail of dopamine, serotonin, and endo-cannaboids. I also meditate and it gives me insight into my illness. I'm probably doing most of what I can for avolition, but want more. Someone online said avolition can be beat by developing the muscle of willpower, I'm trying my best to learn how. In the meantime how do you personally cope with avolition? I totally hate it and consider it my worst symptom of schizophrenia. Worse than psychosis.
