So somehow I managed to leave my Lexapro at home when I moved 4 hours away from home for the semester for college… my doctors office is closed and classes start on Monday. does anyone have any advice? I’ve been medicated for 11 years and am not looking forward to what I would be like without it

I agree with trying to have someone meet you halfway. Another option is to try to explain to a pharmacist the situation and sometimes they will give you enough to tie you over. That's like a last ditch effort, but it might work.

Please try not to skip any days of your medication. Most medications can be mailed (lexapro can be) I know gas is expensive but I really recommend getting your medication if you can

Is there any way you can call or message your dr office and have them send a refill to a nearby pharmacy for you to pickup? Meeting halfway would be a long trip but not as long as driving the full trip. Check the laws, but maybe even getting it mailed to you so it's only a few days without?

@doodle0118 will you be able to get through the weekend? It'll suck, you'll want to be on top of self-care, but a couple days is vastly different from just stopping taking it ❤️

Is there any family or friends who would be able to bring it to you, or meet you half way? I know it would be quite a trip but it might be worth it depending how much you need it.
