How do I cope with the fact that my depression is never going to “go away” and I will always have to keep working and coping? It’s exhausting and I’m just so tired of it.

For me personally, it was realizing that life is a learning experience. You have to get to know yourself and how you can pick yourself up on those days. You will have to be keep working at it but the more you do, the more you grow. I had to really get to know myself and figure out why I am the way I am. I had to become self aware as to why I feel certain things, why I react the way I do and I took it from there and figured out ways to be able to accept certain things but also help heal some of the pain I was feeling. It's hardwork, it definitely not easy but having a therapist to help me realize certain things was a big help .

Trying to be as expressive as the moment allows, and allowing yourself to be in the moment, however painful it may be. I've gotten to a point where there's no more running, I have to face the ugly parts about being human. Unfortunately, the state of the realm we live in gets more chaotic by the day. I don't know what you believe in, but I believe the human experience is temporary, and that our consciousness learns and grows outside of our bodies. This lifetime is only to learn, and to be. To learn to just be, for me at least. Hope that helps
