I hate my job. I never sleep because I have panic attacks about my job. I can't rest on the job because there is no time/I'm not allowed breaks. there's 19 patients to just me at night, which seems like it would be illegal, but it's not. I get chewed out for everything, even if it doesn't happen on my shift and I have people's well being and lives in my hands. I need to start getting sleep or something bad might happen.

Holy guacamole you have way too much responsibility and way too little appreciation. I'm assuming you work in the health care industry in some form because tou referred to "patients". From my understanding, health care professionals are in extremely high demand right now. You deserve to work under conditions that don't have you coning home l, unable to sleep with anxiety and stress. Have you done any job searching? If you're laying in bed and can't sleep anyways, maybe it would be comforting just to see/know other options are out there? Give you a sense of control it sounds like you're missing in your life? You deserve peace because you're human. And if you're still working in health care in 2022, a standing ovation. I see you. I appreciate you.

Have you tried a sleep aid such as melatonin, lunesta or ambien? Ambien is the only way I get any sleep
