Feeling Ignored by a Rheumatologist

Completely understand this - Drs almost scare me now or I shut down there are some good ones out there it just sucks to have to weed through the bad ones first 😔

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I have also have had this happen numerous times over the years. Your not alone. I’ve come to realize that doctors are just regular humans like us they have no super powers. They have families, stresses and problems too. We just tend to put them on an unrealistic level which some can’t live up to. But I do hope in the future of medicine that there will be more answers for us and definitely more listening, caring and empathetic ears.

That sucks. 😕 I know I’ve had horrible experiences with care providers, especially while trying to get diagnosed. The rheumatologist I went to was particularly terrible. I’m sorry you had to experience that. 💜

Internists are key.

I’m so sorry that happened, I can relate I have had the same experience with a couple bad ones that I have seen in my journey. The one that diagnosed me with Fibro and ME/CFS even had the nerve to say, if you ever pursue disability payments I will not support it. Needless, to say that was the last time I saw him! 😒. I hope you can find a much more understanding Rheumatologist. Take care ❤️❤️
